In order to be able to fulfill this special kind of ministry, the Apostles of the Interior Life dedicate their lives to their personal and community formation.

This formation rests basically on four fundamental pillars:

 V      An Intense Prayer Life

The Apostles have four hours of prayer a day consisting of community prayer (Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, meditation) and individual prayer (Eucharistic Adoration, spiritual reading, Rosary). This is essential in order to be in a position to effectively communicate to people a lively experience of the Presence of God, and to lead them in their spiritual journey.

 V      The Intellectual Preparation

The sisters study two years of philosophy and three to five years of theology in one of the Pontifical Universities in Rome. The academic degrees they achieve are just the beginning of their cultural formation. Each member is required to continuously update her formation in order to be able to offer competent help and a credible reply to the many questions addressed to them.

 V        Apostolic Activity

The practice of doing apostolate begins in parallel with their studies and is developed progressively so as to prepare them to be able to handle the different situations of apostolate that they will encounter throughout their ministry (conducting retreats and spiritual exercises, preparation of lectures, spiritual direction, etc.).

V         Community Life

Community life is an indispensable element for human and spiritual growth: it consists of sharing, the reciprocal encouragement and support of each other in the growth of the virtue of charity, and the deepening of the love among the members of the community.
