Since the year 2002 the founder of our community has started the male branch, with the desire to form young men to experience the same charism of the female counterpart. The AIL belonging to the male branch are going to become priests and to serve the Church through the Sacramental Ministry and through evangelization. As the female AIL, they will dedicate themselves mainly to spiritual direction and to preaching retreats and conferences. Of course, being called from God to share the great gift of the Priesthood, they will administer the Sacraments to the People of God. They will live in communities and receive the same formation of their sisters in the female branch. A strong prayer life (about 4 hours of prayer a day), solid cultural formation (studies of Philosophy and Theology in one of the Pontifical Universities in Rome), community and apostolic life will be the 4 basic pillars of their formation.
As for now, there are 5 young men who are beginning their formation to become AIL. Their house is in Rome, Italy, where they can receive the best formation directly from Fr. Salvatore, the founder of both the female and male branch of the Community.
