Four of our sisters live at the St. Lawrence Center at the University of Kansas. Our main ministry is helping the students through spiritual direction. We also give parish missions during the breaks, when students are not present on campus. We usually ask some students to join us during the parish missions, so that they can get an idea of what it means to spread the Gospel, especially among adults. It also helps them to have a glimpse of how things work in the “real world”, so that they can realize how to better prepare themselves to be true Christians once they will be out of College.

MADISON, WI, USA

Three of our sisters live at the St Paul's Center in Madison, WI.  Their apostolate there is exactly that of the  house at the University of Kansas.

House of formation

Each Apostle of the Interior Life studies 2 years of Philosophy and 3 or 5 of Theology. Those are the “years of formation” in which every young woman that asks to join our Community receives all the tools that she needs to become an official member of the Community. We have two sisters in charge of the formation who along with Father Salvatore assist the young ones in their journey in preparation to consecration.

The time of formation is a very rich one under different aspects, one of which is that we interact on a daily basis with our classmates that come from all over the world. The experience of studying in one of the Pontifical Universities is an eye opener to different realities and sensitivities in the Church.

House of apostolate

Two of our sisters that finished their studies are doing their apostolate in Rome.

They do spiritual direction, preach retreats for parishes and guide a group of college students in their spiritual journey;

They give parish missions in Central and Southern Italy

They minister on a University campus for a week each month, where they spend most of their time doing spiritual direction and evangelizing students on the campus.

Induno Olona, Italy

In 1999 we opened our first house in the Diocese of Milan, in Northern Italy. Ever since, our sisters have been engaged in a very active spiritual apostolate. Their main activities are spiritual direction, preaching of retreats and parish missions. They also preach at monthly gatherings of adults and of young people of the Diocese of Milan. For the past two years they’ve been involved in preparing young couples to Christian Marriage.
