Jesus' meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob is the inspiring evangelical episode for the Apostles of the Interior Life. After her personal encounter with Jesus, the Samaritan woman becomes immediately a missionary and announces to her brethren: "Come and see, I met the Messiah". The Apostles of the Interior Life prefer to talk personally with people telling them: "Come and see, I met Jesus". They dedicate themselves full time to Interior formation. They are specialized in spiritual direction and vocational discernment. The Apostles of the Interior Life are available to everyone, especially the youth, to solve their spiritual problems, introducing them gradually to the life of prayer. Other ministries include: conducting retreats and Spiritual Exercises, holding lectures on Catholic Doctrine, organizing groups of prayer, presenting parish missions, and helping young engaged couples to prepare themselves to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage.
